Terms of Service

NAVI is an AI-assisted academic productivity platform designed to help students manage their studies, take notes, plan schedules, collaborate in groups, and interact with AI tutors. NAVI is intended for educational purposes only.

NAVI is provided as a subscription-based software-as-a-service ("SaaS") with a free Starter tier and paid tiers. All features are available across all tiers; paid tiers increase monthly usage limits.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use NAVI. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
• By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
• One account per person. Sharing accounts or attempting to circumvent usage limits is prohibited.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately at navibygeo@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account if you failed to take reasonable security precautions.
• Accounts registered with fraudulent information may be terminated without notice.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. All payments are processed by Kashier, a licensed payment processor. By subscribing, you also agree to Kashier's terms of service.

• Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Prices are displayed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) inclusive of any applicable taxes.
• Promotional codes may only be applied once per user and are non-transferable.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
• Downgrading your plan takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. You retain access to your current tier until then.

You may request a refund within 7 days of a charge by contacting us at navibygeo@gmail.com with your account email and the reason for the request. Refunds are granted at our discretion. We may decline refunds where:

• Significant usage occurred during the billing period (more than 50% of the tier's monthly limits used).
• The account was found to have violated these Terms.
• A refund was already issued for a previous period.

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days back to the original payment method.

You agree to use NAVI only for lawful, educational purposes. You must not:

• Upload, generate, or distribute content that is harmful, abusive, hateful, threatening, pornographic, or otherwise illegal.
• Use NAVI to harass, stalk, impersonate, or harm other users.
• Attempt to access, reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse NAVI's AI models, APIs, or backend systems.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with NAVI except through our official API.
• Upload materials that infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
• Use NAVI to generate content intended for mass distribution, spam, or commercial exploitation outside your personal academic use.
• Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.
• Attempt to bypass subscription tier limits through technical means.

NAVI is a study aid, not a ghostwriting or cheating service. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of NAVI complies with your institution's academic integrity policy, examination rules, and any applicable codes of conduct.

We do not monitor or verify how outputs from NAVI are used in academic submissions. NAVI is not liable for any academic disciplinary action arising from your use of its outputs.

NAVI uses third-party large language models (routed via OpenRouter) that may produce inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or misleading information. AI outputs:

• Are not a substitute for your own research, your instructor's guidance, or authoritative academic sources.
• May reflect biases or errors in the underlying models.
• Should always be independently verified before use in academic or professional work.

NAVI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI responses, or uninterrupted service availability.

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create on NAVI (notes, documents, messages, etc.). By uploading content, you grant NAVI a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your content and do not sell it to third parties. Your content may be processed by third-party AI providers (via OpenRouter) strictly to generate responses for you.

Group spaces allow multiple users to collaborate. By participating in a group:

• You understand that messages you send in group chats are visible to other group members.
• You are responsible for the content you post. Do not share private personal information of others without consent.
• Group admins and owners may remove members or delete content at their discretion.
• We may remove groups or content that violate these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use policy.
• Engage in fraudulent payment activity or chargebacks without contacting us first.
• Are found to be abusing the platform (e.g., exploiting the AI system, circumventing limits).

You may delete your account at any time by contacting navibygeo@gmail.com. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

The NAVI name, logo, design, source code, and all non-user-generated content on the platform are the exclusive property of NAVI and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of NAVI without express written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Egyptian law, NAVI and its team shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
• Loss of data, grades, academic opportunities, or income resulting from use of or inability to use NAVI.
• Errors, interruptions, or unavailability of the service.
• Actions taken based on AI-generated content.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably by contacting us at navibygeo@gmail.com. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email and/or an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of NAVI after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using NAVI and may request account deletion.
